Specifications
Easy to install, less time on site
Peblar Business weighs just 2.9kg and is installed on the wall or on a pole by a certified installer in a single visit. The entire system sits on one integrated printed circuit board with a limited amount of cables and elements, so there is less to connect and less that can go wrong.
Commissioning happens through the local web interface. The charger contains a pre-defined set of parameters for the compatible back offices, so the installer only needs to add the domain of the charge point operator and the charger appears in the right charge point management system.
More accuracy, less admin
Peblar Business contains an integrated MID class B certified energy meter. Every charging session is measured to a legally recognised standard, so the energy used by a company car at home can be reimbursed, and the energy used by a visitor at the office can be billed, without discussion.
For markets that require it, an Eichrecht compliant variant is available. Combined with a back office, this turns the charger into a transparent, compliant billing point from day one.
Install anywhere, manage from anywhere
Peblar Business connects to your back office over ethernet, WiFi or the mobile network (2G and 4G), so it works in an underground car park as well as on a driveway without a stable WiFi signal. Once connected, a charge point operator can monitor sessions, manage access, set tariffs and push firmware updates remotely.
Peblar Business speaks OCPP 1.6-J and integrates with the most common back offices in the market, so you choose the platform, not the other way round. For sites with more than one charger, group load balancing shares the available grid capacity between all Peblar chargers on site, so you add charging points without upgrading the connection.
Rocksolid, by default
Designed, tested and manufactured in the Netherlands, Peblar Business is built for daily use by many hands. Every charger is tested end of line before it leaves the factory, and the IP54 rated housing handles rain, frost and heat from -30 to +50 degrees Celsius.
Security does not stop at the hardware. Our chargers only allow encrypted web sockets, meet all safety requirements and regulations, and our software is tested every day. The result is a field failure rate of 0.1% across 100,000+ deployed chargers, a 0.01% dead-on-arrival rate and 100% end-of-line testing.
