More ways to connect: Peblar expands integration with leading energy retailers
The energy market is changing fast. More and more EV drivers want to charge their car at the smartest possible moment, when energy is cheapest, greenest, or best aligned with their household consumption.
The energy retailer’s app is increasingly becoming a central place to manage this.
That’s why we’re excited to share that Peblar EV chargers can now be integrated directly into energy retailer energy management apps, including well-known names such as Tibber and Frank Energie.
This is made possible through a brand-new API connection, facilitated by Enode.

Why this matters for EV drivers

With this integration, Peblar EV chargers can be added directly to the platform, allowing users to:
- Start and stop charging from the energy app
- Charge when energy prices are lowest
- Use more of their own solar energy
- Monitor and manage charging alongside other home energy devices
For example, an EV driver with a dynamic energy contract can simply plug in their car when arriving home. The energy app automatically recognises the connected Peblar charger and schedules charging during the cheapest hours of the day. If the home has solar panels, the app can prioritise charging with surplus solar energy first, helping reduce charging costs even further, all without the driver having to manually adjust settings.
Peblar chargers become a seamless part of the energy app experience, eliminating the need for a separate charging app while helping users charge smarter, cheaper, and more sustainably.
