New features in firmware update 1.7.0

This firmware update introduces several new features designed to enhance charger functionality and simplify user operations. Below are the highlights:

Backoffice and SIM selection improvement

A dual dropdown list provides a complete and detailed overview of backoffices in the commissioning interface, making it easier to locate the correct backoffice during installation. SIM card settings can now be configured during
commissioning, providing greater flexibility.

Danish web interface

The commissioning and web interface is now available in Danish.

Support for new Modbus meters

Operation of the charger is now supported with additional Modbus meters. This support enables features like solar charging and the household power slider without the need of a smart meter.

The list of new supported Modbus meters:

      • Carlo Gavazzi EM112/EM3x0 (RTU)
      • Siemens PAC 2200 (TCP)
      • Xemex SSC-1 (TCP)
      • Phoenix Contact EEM-Mxx7x (TCP)
      • Socomec Countis E2x (TCP)
      • Socomec Countis E4x (TCP)

Resume charging after power outage

The charger now resumes ongoing charging sessions after a power outage.

Release notes firmware update 1.7.1

This release includes:

Download charging session data

Users can now download charging session data when this functionality has been activated, which can be used for reimbursement purposes. This functionality is by default turned on for Peblar branded chargers.

Easier local EMS controller detection via OCPP

Because this firmware supports mDNS for local OCPP connections, selected local EMS controllers working locally with OCPP communication can be more easily detected on the local network, improving the speed of commissioning the charger in these use-cases. This is applied when selecting the desired EMS controller from the dropdown list in the ‘Authorization’ step in commissioning.

Improvements:

  • Improved HomeWizard discovery behavior: HomeWizard devices are more quickly discovered on the local network, which could improve the commissioning time for installation of the Peblar chargers.
  • Various connectivity improvements leading to increased uptime with the backoffice and network.
  • Multiple other improvements leading to enhanced charging behavior and interaction with web
    interface.
