Peblar launches the Peblar Dual dual-socket EV charger

New Peblar Dual enables faster, cost-efficient expansion of EV charging through smart installation and optimised grid use.

EINDHOVEN, June 23, 2026 - Today, Dutch EV charging manufacturer Peblar has launched its first dual-socket AC charger, the award-nominated Peblar Dual, to alleviate EV charging scalability and infrastructure constraints.

As EV adoption continues to accelerate across Europe, scaling charging infrastructure remains a challenge. Grid limits are reached, installations are complex and the cost of additional infrastructure is high.

The system combines charging, on-demand payment, and connectivity in a single solution, making the deployment of chargers simpler and more cost-effective. With support for cable daisy-chaining and intelligent load management, operators can expand charging sites as demand grows, without major grid upgrades or additional cabling.

For site owners and operators, the effect is practical. Charging operations can be expanded, limiting the need for a redesign of the site. Parking capacity is no longer a limiting factor, but a starting point. Charging infrastructure shifts from a one-off capital project to something that can be rolled out in a controlled and repeatable way.

These technological innovations, combined with the environmental, economic, and security benefits, have been recognised by a smarter E AWARD 2026 nomination for the charger in the ‘E-mobility’ category.

Peblar Dual will be officially unveiled at Power2Drive Europe 2026, followed by a phased introduction across selected European markets
