Firmware 1.10.0
This firmware update adds a custom solar strategy, more precise scheduled charging, improved offline behaviour for managed chargers, support for additional Modbus energy meters, and functionality supporting compliance with UK smart charge point requirements.
- Custom solar strategy: tailor solar charging by setting a start and stop power threshold, a grid power target, and an option to keep charging active. This gives more control over self-consumption, grid import and charging availability. Custom solar works like pure solar, with these three settings added on top. OCPP keys: SolarChargingMode (CustomSolar is now an accepted value), SolarChargingCustomerPowerTarget, SolarChargingCustomerPowerThreshold, SolarChargingCustomAlwaysCharge.
- More precise scheduled charging: schedules can now be set in 15-minute intervals, with a separate charging current limit for each block. This allows closer alignment with dynamic tariffs and more granular load management.
- Improved offline behaviour for managed chargers: managed chargers can now be configured to charge before the backoffice has accepted the BootNotification, or before the charger's clock has been validated or synchronised. This makes a charger available sooner during commissioning and maintains service during selected connectivity or time synchronisation issues. Because this affects authorisation and operational control, operators should select the policy that fits their use case. OCPP keys: ChargeBeforeAcceptedPolicy, AllowChargeWithoutValidTime.
- UK smart charging functionality: adds support for the Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021 for applicable private charge points sold in the UK, including default charging schedules, a configurable randomised delay and tamper detection. An override button in the web interface lets the user bypass the randomised delay and start a session when immediate charging is needed. The ruleset is enabled during commissioning through the web interface, or through the backoffice for managed chargers. OCPP keys: UkSmartChargingRulesetEnable, RandomisedDelay (0 to 1,800 seconds, default 600).
- Extended Modbus meter support: added support for the Inepro N1/Pro1, Inepro N380/P380 and Carlo Gavazzi EM24, giving installers more choice when selecting a compatible energy meter.
Fixes and improvements
- The charge point ID is now shown on the web interface login screen
- Improved socket behaviour, diagnostics and overall stability

Notes de version
Known issue with socket chargers
Users with Keep Locked set to on may experience charging interruptions after updating to firmware 1.9.1. If you have a socket variant and have installed this update, we recommend updating to firmware 1.9.2, which fixes this issue.

Uniquement pour Peblar Dual. Ne pas installer sur Peblar Home ou Business.
Notes de version
Firmware 1.10.1 is the first field release for Peblar Dual. It adds the features specific to Dual, such as custom logos, dynamic QR code payment, automatic phase rotation, RCD-A support and two-socket operation. These notes focus on what differs from or extends the single socket experience. Update the charger through Connect Hub or the web interface.
What is new for Peblar Dual
- Two-socket operation and internal load distribution: Dual manages two sockets in one charge point and distributes the available current across both connectors, within the configured limit.
- Group load balancing: done at charger level. Available power is shared dynamically between the two connectors, and their combined consumption stays within the limit of the configured measurement source.
- Automatic phase rotation: for single-phase vehicles, Dual can assign charging to phase L1, L2 or L3 and rotate the connection after the vehicle is connected to improve the distribution across sockets.
- On-screen language selection: drivers can choose their language on the display. Supported languages are English, Dutch, French, German and Danish.
- Built-in RCD-A with on-screen reset: if the RCD-A trips and no failure blocks a reset, anyone can reset it from a prompt on the touchscreen.
- Custom logo on the display: host a PNG file of up to 100 kB at a URL the charger can reach and set CustomLogoUrl. The charger then downloads and shows the logo.
- Contact details on screen: show support contact information on the information page and when the charger enters a system-level fault. Set it with the ContactDetail key.
- QR-based ad hoc charging: set QRPaymentURLTemplate to show a dynamic QR code that opens a web-based charging start flow. TOTP is supported for security, with the keys TOTPSharedSecret, TOTPLength and TOTPValidityTime.
- Scheduled charging: configured for the whole Dual instead of per socket, so time-block current limits apply at charger level.
- Solar charging: the built-in strategy is meant for one site with one Dual and local solar generation. It cannot be combined with group load balancing. Larger multi-charger solar sites need an external energy management solution.
- Ethernet daisy chain: Dual has an embedded switch with two external network ports, so network cables can be daisy-chained without an external switch.
Connectivity, security and fixes
- WebSocket compression: supports the OCPP 1.6 permessage-deflate extension (RFC 7692). When the backend supports it and WebSocketCompressionEnable is on, OCPP traffic can be reduced by up to 80%.
- The charge point ID is now shown on the web interface login screen.
- Improved socket behaviour, diagnostics and overall stability, plus minor security updates.
Not yet available in this release
- Modbus APIs: options may be visible, but the API is not fully implemented yet.
- Custom logo upload through the web interface: use CustomLogoUrl for now.
- Dynamic load balancing (BOP): not implemented yet. For a single Dual, group load balancing gives comparable control across its two connectors.
- Optimised group load balancing: phase rotation happens locally at charger level, leader-directed phase selection per socket is not available yet.
- Wi-Fi mesh networking: not available yet.
